Faustina Junior. Augusta, AD 147-175. Æ Sestertius (28.93 g, 1h). Rome mint. Struck under Marcus Aurelius, circa AD 157-161. Draped bust right / Fecunditas standing facing, head left, holding two infants; two children stand to either side below. RIC III 1635 (Aurelius); MIR 18, 10-6a; Banti 56. EF, brown and green patina, minor edge split and edge nock. As is often the case, the location of the edge knock on this coin suggests that it was applied in the mint for the purpose of closing the flan crack.
