Struck 1544-1547. hЄNRIC’ 8 D’ G’ AGL’ FRA’ Z hIB’ RЄ’, crowned bust facing slightly right (Laker bust D [bust 2]); trefoil stops / POSVI DOЄV’ ΛDIVTORЄ’ mЄV’, royal shield over long cross fourchée; pellet-in-annulets in forks, trefoil stops. Whitton p. 309, B.1; North 1844; SCBC 2369. Good VF, toned. Excellent bold portrait.
