GREEK. Neolithic Greece. Late Varna Culture Terracotta Cult Figure. Circa 3rd millennium BC. Hollow hand-thrown pottery figurine of a woman wearing a voluminous skirt. Overall incised geometric decoration, filled in with white paint. Light brownish clay, the upper torso showing traces of burnishing. Height: 17cm. Good condition, broken at the neck and restored.
