ISLAMIC. Ottomans. Glazed Pottery Jug (Syria or Egypt). 14th-17th centuries AD. Single-handled ceramic jug with wide body and flaring rim. Thick, dark green glaze, painted floral and linear decoration in brown and cream, traces of gilding. Height: 18.5cm. Good condition, one large and several small chips on rim, glazing cracked with some small pieces missing.
