Lucius Verus. AD 161-169. Æ Medallion (42mm, 44.68 g). Rome mint. Struck AD 163. Cuirassed bust left, seen from behind / Verus standing left, holding scepter and sacrificing over lighted altar, being crowned by Victory standing behind; statue of Minerva on garlanded column to left. Gnecchi 38; Banti 209. Near VF, patina stripped and partially recolored. Mounted at one time, with large blob of solder on reverse at 12 o’clock remaining and damage to the central portion of the reverse.
