LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (7.71 g, 9h). Wreathed head of Demeter right; pellet behind neck / Barley ear of seven grains, leaf to right; pellet to left of leaf, plow above leaf. Johnston Class C, 1.36 (same obv. die); HN Italy 1581. Good VF, attractive iridescent toning, slightly irregular flan. Fine style.
