SICILY, Leontini. Circa 430-425 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.24 g, 3h). Laureate head of Apollo left / Head of roaring lion right; three barley grains around, kithara below. Boehringer, Münzgeschichte 56; SNG ANS 243; Jameson 631; SNG Delepierre 571 (all from the same dies). VF, toned, minor die rust, double struck on reverse. Rare issue with lyre.
