SICILY, Leontini. Circa 425-420 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.41 g, 11h). Laureate head of Apollo right; ivy spray behind / Head of roaring lion right; three barley grains around, mullet (chelon labrosus) below. Boehringer, Münzgeschichte 62; SNG ANS 254 (same dies); Basel 354 (same dies). Good VF, toned. Rare type with mullet.
