MACEDON, Amphipolis. 370/69 BC. AR Drachm (3.52 g, 5h). Wreathed head of Apollo facing slightly right / Ethnic around torch within linear square; all within linear square in incuse square. Lorber 55 (O3/R2); SNG ANS 80; Traité II 1098b (same dies); McClean 3207 (same dies); SNG Stockholm 873 = SNG Lockett 1301 (same dies). Good VF. Exceptional metal quality, centering, and sharpness for issue, with full nose.
