LESBOS, Unattributed early mint. Circa 550-500 BC. BI Stater (14.17 g). Triform type: Lion recumbent facing, composed of the forepart of two lions confronted / Rough incuse square. SNG München -; SNG Copenhagen -; SNG von Aulock -; cf. BMC 3; cf. Traité I 548. Near VF, toned, usual porosity, light deposits. Exceptional strike for issue. Very rare with all four legs visible.
