IONIA, Teos. Circa 510-475 BC. AR Stater (11.82 g). Griffin seated right, raising foreleg; to lower right, heron standing right / Quadripartite incuse square. Balcer group X (A18/P33); SNG von Aulock -; SNG Copenhagen -; Dewing 2312. Good VF. Overstruck on a stater of Aegina. The design of the host coin is clearly visible. Good metal for issue.
