CARIA, Achaemenid Period. Circa 350-334 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.69 g, 12h). Struck circa 341-334 BC. Persian king or hero in kneeling-running stance right, drawing bow; mem to left, two annulets to right / Persian satrap on horseback right, thrusting spear; star above. Konuk, Influences, Group 8, 2; otherwise unpublished. VF, iridescent toning, areas of flat strike. Overstruck on similar type. Very rare.
