PISIDIA, Komama. 1st century BC. AR Hemidrachm (1.95 g, 12h). Diademed head of Artemis right; K behind / KOMA-MEΩN, long torch. Von Aulock,
KM VI, 1 (same dies); otherwise unpublished. Good VF, toned, a hint of porosity, minor flat strike on reverse. Extremely rare, apparently the second known.
This coin is from the only known silver coinage of Komama, of which only the von Aulock specimen is published (but not in his sylloge). Along with this issue of silver, an extensive series of bronze was struck during the 1st century BC, before the city came under Roman control.
