Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Statue of Ares standing facing, holding sword, spear, and shield; at base, lighted altars flanking; date across field. Spijkerman 27 (same dies as coin illustrated); SNG ANS -; Rosenberger 16-7 var. (portrait). Good VF, light green patina and earthen deposits, a few flan splits.
