Anonymous. 206-195 BC. Æ As (38.69 g, 6h). Sextantal standard. Rome mint. Laureate head of bearded Janus; I (mark of value) above / Prow of galley right; I (mark of value) to right, star above. Crawford 113/2 (citing only 2 specimens in Paris); Sydenham 264. VF, green patina, earthen deposits, minor roughness and smoothing, a few shallow test cuts on obverse near edge. Very rare.
