Julius Caesar. Early 46 BC. AR Denarius (3.86 g, 6h). Utica(?) mint. Head of Ceres right, wearing wreath of barley / Simpulum, sprinkler, capis (jug) and lituus; M (munus = gift) in right field. Crawford 467/1b; CRI 57a; Sydenham 1024; RSC 4. Good VF, lightly toned, a couple shallow contact marks on cheek and neck.
