Nerva. AD 96-98. Æ Sestertius (23.16 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 97. Laureate head right / FORTVNA AVGVSTI, Fortuna standing facing, head left, holding rudder and cradling cornucopia. RIC II 83 var. (rev. legend); Banti 21 var. (same); BMCRE 108 note. Good VF, glossy green and brown patina, some smoothing and details strengthened. Extremely rare legend variety, BMCRE references a single specimen in Vienna.
