Severus Alexander. AD 222-235. Æ Sestertius (24.86 g, 12h). Rome mint. 8th emission, AD 228. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Severus standing left, sacrificing from patera over altar to left. RIC IV 484 var. (bust type); Banti 83. Good VF, dark green patina, minor roughness. Struck on a broad, medallic flan.
