Æ Key Chain with Five Keys. 14th-15th centuries. Five keys (two FE with circular bows, two Æ with lozenge bows, one FE with open-work bow) affixed to crude key chain with groove on one end and pierced projections on the other. Found along the Thames. Width: 7.2cm. Fine condition, some corrosion, bow of one key damaged.
The chain is possibly a piece of a divider bar, or came, for a window.
