MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 432-348 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.31 g, 10h). Olynthos mint. Struck circa 359 BC. Laureate head of Apollo left / Kithara; tripod above, small KPA below, X-A-ΛKIΔ-EΩN around. Robinson & Clement group M, 82a (A53/ P73 - this coin; illustrated); SNG ANS -; Jameson 490 (same rev. die). Near EF, toned, face smoothed. Excellent metal for issue.
