BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANIKHTOΥ ΛYΣIOY, laureate heroic bust of Herakles right, club and palm over left shoulder / “Maharajasa apadihatasa Lisiasa” in Kharosthi, Indian elephant advancing right with left foreleg raised; monogram below. Bopearachchi Série 9B; cf. MIG Type 267; SNG ANS 1055; Bopearachchi & Rahman -. EF, black patina with dusty earthen overtones. Well struck with dies of fine style. Rare in this form and superior to the published specimens.
