CAESAR AVGVSTVS, bare head left / MARTIS VLTORIS, Temple of Mars Ultor: statue of Mars, holding aquila and trophy, standing left within tetrastyle temple with ornate domed roof. RIC I 39b; BMCRE -; BN -; RSC -; B. Czurda and F. Dick, TNRB 3, 665. Good VF, toned. Very rare variety with head left.
