M AVR ALEXANDER CAES, bare-headed and draped bust right / PIETAS AVG, priestly emblems: lituus, secespita, capis, simpulum, aspergillum. RIC IV 3; Thirion 495; RSC 198; BMCRE 266 (Elagabalus). Good VF, toned, faint cleaning hairlines beneath tone, slightly granular surfaces, minor flan flaw on reverse. Rare.
