LЄ On bASILЄЧ, crowned facing bust, wearing short beard and chlamys, holding cross potent and akakia; pellet in outer left field / LЄ On dЄ SPOτIS (star) X, crowned facing bust, wearing short beard and loros, holding globus cruciger; pellet in outer left field. DOC 1; Füeg 1.A; BN p. 506; Ratto 1794 (same dies); SB 1626; Gemini I, lot 505 (same dies). Superb EF, area of flat strike at edge. Extremely rare, one of eight known specimens, two of which are in public collections.
