ARMENIA, Cilician Armenia. Royal. Levon I. 1198-1219. AR Double Tram (28mm, 5.44 g, 9h). Levon seated facing on throne ornamented with lions, holding globus cruciger and fleur-de-lys / Lion standing left, holding long cross; crescent to left. AC 269-70 var. (cinquefoil rather than crescent); Bedoukian 28 var. (without pellet to right of lion). Good VF, areas of flat strike. Rare denomination, and possibly an unrecorded variety.
