Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (23mm, 5.75 g, 9h). Contemporary imitation of ‘C’ mint issue. Radiate and draped bust right / Pax standing left, holding branch and scepter. Cf. RIC 303; Hunter 27 (same dies). VF, dark brown patina. Legends on both obverse and reverse garbled. An interesting imitative issue, struck on a thick, heavy flan.
