SYRIA, Cyrrhestica. Hierapolis. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 13.28 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing, head right, holding wreath in beak; between legs, lion advancing right. Cf. Prieur 943-4. VF, compact flan.
The tight flan prevents the reading of the end of the obverse legend, thereby making the attribution to either Prieur 943 or 944 indeterminable.
