CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 365-355 BC. AR Nomos (7.49 g, 11h). Nude youth on horseback right; to right, herm left; |-E below / Phalanthos, holding oinochoe, on dolphin left. Fischer-Bossert group 36, - (V229/R429 [unlisted die combination]); Vlasto 409 (same obv. die); HN Italy 873; SNG ANS 912 (same obv. die). Near VF, a little porous, minor die rust. Rare, and unpublished with this die combination.

This particular coin is listed in Fischer-Bossert as 567k, but he misidentified the reverse die as R433. Fischer-Bossert lists 123 coins overall for his group 36, from 15 die pairings (5 obverse and 11 reverse).
