LUCANIA, Herakleia. Circa 390-340 BC. AR Nomos (7.66 g, 6h). Reverse die signed by the artist Kla-. Helmeted head of Athena right, helmet decorated with Skylla hurling a stone, palmette on the neck guard; Δ, K, and Φ before / Herakles wrestling the Nemean Lion; club and KAΛ to right, owl between legs. Van Keuren 50; HN Italy 1377. Good VF, toned.
