SICILY, Akragas. Circa 420-406 BC. Æ Hemilitron (17.40 g, 6h). Eagle standing right, head raised, on hare held in its talons / Crab; conch shell and sepia below, six pellets (mark of value) around. Westermark, Fifth, issue 4; CNS 33; SNG ANS 1030. VF, attractive dark green patina. Overstruck on uncertain type. Very rare issue with hare, rather than fish, on obverse.
