ARABIA, Bostra. Septimius Severus, with Julia Domna. AD 193-211. Æ 28mm (11.85 g, 12h). Conjoined busts right of Septimius Severus, radiate, draped, and cuirassed, and Julia Domna, draped, wearing stephane decorated with crescent, and set on crescent / Tyche standing facing, holding trophy and cornucopia, foot on river-god below, swimming right; on either side, forepart of Centaur right; all within tetrastyle temple façade with arched central bay. Kindler 25a; cf. Spijkerman 34-5; SNG ANS 1202. Good VF, dark green patina with a heavy layer of earthen deposit.
