Divus Augustus. Died AD 14. Æ Sestertius (19.97 g, 1h). Rome mint. Struck under Tiberius, AD 35-36. Statue of Augustus, holding branch and scepter, seated left on throne set on ornate car drawn by four elephants; each elephant has its own mahout / Legend around large S C. RIC I 62 (Tiberius). Good VF, apple-green patina, minor roughness in places. Well struck for issue.
