Gallienus. AD 253-268. AR Antoninianus (2.89 g, 12h). Legionary issue. Mediolanum mint. 2nd emission, circa AD 260-262. Radiate head left / LEG II ITAL VI P VI F, she-wolf standing left, suckling Romulus and Remus. RIC V 329; MIR 36, 992c; cf. RSC 472. Good VF, toned, minor porosity. Remarkably well struck for this series, very rare thus.
