Stone cylinder seals. Early Dynastic Period to Achaemenid Period, 3rd millennium-circa 400 BC. Cylinder seals of various stones, including the following designs:
a) Two rampant lions(?). Height: 3.9 cm.
b) Two rampant griffins. Height: 2.2cm.
c) Two seated griffins. Height: 2.7 cm.
d) Standing figure presenting Nike(?) to enthroned figure, being fanned by attendant. Height: 2.3 cm.
e) Winged ibex(?) surrounded by standing figures; sun or star, crescent, and winged sun disk in upper field. Height: 3.4 cm.
f) Indistinct design. Height: 2.1 cm.
g) Standing figures. Height: 1.4 cm.
h) Undulating line. Height: 1.6 cm. Lot also includes:
i) a bead with geometric decoration from an uncertain period. Length: 2.0 cm. Fine to Good conditon, some surface damage. Some appear to have been recut. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Nine objects (9) in lot.
