Terracotta figure of a priest. Egyptian, Roman Period, 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Solid figure of seated priest, draped, wearing necklace and headgear, holding an exaggerated phallus with both hands. Back of figure unworked. Height: 21.3 cm. Neck broken and repaired, surfaces a bit rough. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.
The phallus is a modern addition. It is uncertain what the priest originally held.
