Bronze figure of seated Harpocrates (the child Horus) and terracotta “pretty lady”. Egyptian, XXVI Dynasty, 664-525 BC and Michoacán, 4th-1st centuries BC, respectively.
a) Seated Harpocrates, wearing crown, nemes (royal headdress), and sidelock of youth, holding finger to mouth. Height (without mount): 13.3 cm.
b) Solid standing female figure with emphasized breasts and stomach, nude but for necklace, ear spools, and headband. Reddish brown clay. Height (without mount): 11.9 cm. Harpocrates rubbed in areas, “pretty lady” with some earthen encrustation, each with custom mount. Both figures possibly modern reproductions. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.
