LAKONIA, Lakedaimon (Sparta). Circa 90-60/50 BC. AR Hemidrachm (2.22 g, 5h). Laureate head of Herakles right / Amphora between piloi of the Dioskouroi; Λ-A across central field, T-A across lower field; all within wreath. Grunauer group VIII, series 19, 105 var. (V-/R98 [unlisted obv. die]); BCD Peloponnesos 879 (same rev. die). VF, lightly toned, minor porosity and die wear on obverse.
