ARKADIA, Arkadian League. Circa 465-460 BC. AR Hemidrachm (2.77 g, 12h). Mantinea mint. Zeus Lykaios seated left, holding scepter and thunderbolt; to left, eagle flying right / Head of Kallisto right, hair in sakkos, within incuse square. Williams, Confederate, period II, 115 (O78/R66); BCD Peloponnesos (Mantinea) -; BMC 34 (same dies). VF, lightly toned, light porosity, a few minor marks. Very rare.
