ARKADIA, Arkadian League. Circa 460-450 BC. AR Hemidrachm (3.00 g, 12h). Kleitor mint. Zeus Lykaios seated right, holding scepter and thunderbolt; eagle flying right from his arm / Head of Kallisto right, wearing tainia, within incuse square. Williams, Confederate, period III, 161 (O110/R100); BCD Peloponnesos -; Traité III 836, pl. CCXXIII, 8 (same dies). Good VF, toned, small scuff on cheek of Kallisto. Lovely fine style. Very rare.
