ARKADIA, Arkadian League. Circa 460-450 BC. AR Hemidrachm (2.98 g, 10h). Kleitor mint. Zeus Lykaios seated right, holding scepter and thunderbolt; eagle alighting right from his arm / Head of Kallisto right, wearing tainia, within incuse square. Williams, Confederate, period III, 162 (O110/R99); BCD Peloponnesos -; J. Hirsch XIX, lot 465 (same dies). VF, toned, obverse off center, light marks under tone on obverse. Attractive style. Very rare.
