MESSENIA, Cyparissia. Caracalla. AD 198-217. Æ Assarion (4.22 g, 9h). Struck AD 202-205. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Apollo standing facing, head left, holding laurel branch and cithara set on low column. BCD Peloponnesos 795 (same dies). Fine, rough brown surfaces. Very rare.
