MESSENIA, Pylus. Julia Domna. Augusta, AD 193-217. Æ Assarion (5.02 g, 5h). Draped bust right / Asclepius standing facing, head left, leaning on serpent-entwined staff. Cf. BCD Peloponnesos 817 (for rev. type on Septimius) and cf. BCD Peloponnesos 818 (for obv. die). Fine, rough dark brown surfaces.
