INDIA, Kushan Empire. Huvishka. Circa AD 152-192. Æ Drachm (20mm, 2.83 g, 12h). Huvishka, holding goad, on elephant left / Athso standing facing, head left, raising right hand, left hand on hilt of sword; tamgha to left, HO[Λ] upward to right. MK -; Donum Burns -. VF, brown surfaces, cleaned, now retoning. Extremely rare and possibly unrecorded.


MK 952 features a similar figure identified by Göbl as Athso with the legend HOΛ or some variant on the reverse. These, however, are tetradrachms with Huvishka riding an elephant to the right.
