ILLYRO-PAEONIAN REGION, Damastion (Dardania). Circa 365/0-350/45 BC. AR Tetradrachm (13.57 g, 12h). Laureate head of Apollo left / Tripod with lion’s feet standing on base; knife and KH to right, HPAKΛ-EIΔO on base and to right. May, Damastion 51 (same obv. die); SNG Copenhagen -; SNG Ashmolean 3320 (same obv. die). EF, attractively toned. Beautifully struck and well centered. Very rare.
