KINGS of ARMENIA. Tigranes II ‘the Great’. 95-56 BC. Æ Half Chalkous (2.51 g, 1h). Tigranakert mint. Struck 69-55 BC. Draped bust right, wearing five-pointed Armenian tiara decorated with star; two pellets to right / Tripod-lebes surmounted by holmos from which rise three laurel twigs. M&D 41 var. (no pellets, HMO in exergue); CAA 122 var. (same); AC 111 var. (same). Good VF, green patina.
