BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Menander II. Circa 90-80 BC. AR Drachm (2.33 g, 12h). Diademed, helmeted, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Nike, nimbate, advancing right, holding wreath and palm frond; monogram to left. Bopearachchi 2B; cf. SNG ANS 1270/1269 (obv./rev.); Triton X, lot 461. VF, lightly toned. Extremely rare, only the second specimen to appear at recent auction; Bopearachchi records only one example, in the BM.
