CILICIA, Tarsus. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ 38mm (35.01 g, 6h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, holding shield decorated with aegis and spear / Elpis (Spes) standing left, holding flower and raising hem of skirt. SNG Levante 1130 (same dies); SNG France 1704. Good VF, olive and earthen brown patina.
