Nero. AD 54-68. Æ Sestertius (26.99 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 64. Laureate head left / Triumphal arch, with wreath across front, surmounted by emperor in facing quadriga accompanied by Pax and Victory; two soldiers (torch bearers?) flanking quadriga, statue of Mars in side niche of arch. RIC I 148; WCN 117. Good VF, dark green and brown patina, areas of minor roughness. Impressive architectural type.
