Caracalla, with Geta as Caesar. AD 198-217. AR Denarius (2.82 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 202. Laureate and draped bust of Caracalla right / Bare-headed and draped bust of Geta right. RIC IV 62 var. (obv. bust type); RSC 7 var. (same). VF, toned, minor porosity, hairline flan crack, traces of deposits, tiny delamination above Caracalla’s head. An extremely rare variety of a very rare type.
