Diocletian. AD 284-305. Æ Denarius (1.69 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 285. Laureate and draped bust right / Jupiter standing facing, head right, holding scepter and thunderbolt; at feet to left, eagle standing left, holding wreath in beak. RIC V 187 var. (no eagle). Good VF, brown patina, minor porosity. Extremely rare.
